Ok, so I have to grovel on here and say how horrible I have been at the blogging thing since I have been back in Omaha, and since everyone is on Facebook now, so it seems pointless sometimes. But, it is about to change! Bare with me!
Here’s what’s been going on with me……
I really struggled with leaving Louisiana a few years ago to start over and thought, since Omaha, Ne. is my home town, things would flow easily. Well, it has been a bit of a struggle, I am not going to lie! It has been rough on me because I love what I do soooooooo much, it was killing me not to be as busy as I was in Louisiana. We all have struggles! I thought keeping it all in would be the safe way, but it was not. So, for all of us struggling in this world to keep what we love the most, here is to us keeping our minds clear, our heart open to possibilities, and hoping……….NO, knowing and praying, that someday things can only work out for the best. I have to believe in my heart that it will.
I am about to embark on a new journey, a new beginning, a new start! I am so incredibly excited about this opportunity! I can not believe how much the last couple of months have changed my perspective on life. There will be no more groveling every few months and there will definitely be more blogging. I will be blogging about the new and exciting things happening in my life, the new people I’ve met and am going to meet, the fun things I like to do, music that I love, and about the amazing and passionate, LOVE of my work! It is the heart and soul of who I am! I have never been more excited to start anew. SO, jump on this train and let’s go for a ride! We are going to have the time of our lives!!
One other thing…..there are a few people I would like to thank for being there for me in my professional life as well as my personal. I will not be able to name everyone, but I want to throw a few names out there….
To all of my Louisiana friends and partners in crime-Kevin Beasley, Kelly Cathey, Jennifer Robison, Kristin Mosura, Hannah Parker Trussell, Matt Hudson, Matthew Flowers, Terrie Perez, Donny Crowe, Casey Harvill, Scott Cox, Richard Snell, and Jeannette Sibley. Thank you for teaching me, praying for me!
To all of my Omaha peeps, thank you-Jamie Masek-for being you in every way possible, Kate Rice-for the talks so far and more to come, Chris Tierney-for bringing me in as one of the 6, Terry Cue-for taking me in the last two years, Jeff Bauman-for the new found inspiration, to all of my GIRLS, the rest of my friends and my family-for loving me no matter what, to my new studio partner-Lani Bresler, we are going to rock it out girl, AND A HUGE THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients for loving my work and for letting me be there to capture or create something wonderful for you-YOUR MEMORIES!
You have all been an inspiration to me in some way and I am blessed with having you in my life!

I had a great time with Sherrie, Brittani and Jordan during our family/senior portrait session. Check out the family part of the session! Brittani said that she wanted something different, not just the traditional family session photos. I love when my clients want something creative!! We went to several different locations for the session but my fav was the one downtown when we came across this couch just sitting by a building. I wish I would have grabbed it while I had the chance.

Sneak peek time. I am so excited about this couple and this session! Love, love, love this couple and I know we are going to have a blast at the wedding on July 30, 2011. Corey =) I so love when my couples have their own ideas because then it really is a session ‘ALL ABOUT THEM”! Corey came up with most of the FUN, kid like ideas, while I threw in some as well to complete the whole session. Oh, and this was right in their own back yard too. Thank you for asking me to be a part of capturing all of what the world is about to see.
