First time posting on the blog for a while so I thought I would start it off right with this teaser shot of Lindsay. This was a lil session I shot of her, with a little help from Lani Bresler, at our studio in Millard!! (Thanks Lani!) We were messing around with some lighting techniques. I LOVE this shot of Lindsay!! Thanks for being a great model for me!

I love referrals!!! I met Brandi and Spencer while photographing Jenna and Nick’s wedding. Brandi is Jenna’s sister. I was so happy when Brandi called to ask me to photograph her wedding because we had such a wonderful time during Jenna and Nick’s wedding!! So, I get to go to Humphrey, NE. again!! Here is a little sneak peek at Brandi and Spencer’s engagement session. We had a great time driving around Fremont looking for different places to shoot their session. The day I went to do Peggy and Micahel’s session, it was a tad bit windy but I knew it was going to be a good day, even if I went the wrong way to get there and thought I was going to be terribly late. We had a great time and they are so in love, as you will see in the photos. SO, at the end of the session I had asked Peggy to send me an email on how she and Michael met. When she first booked the wedding day with me, she told me the story and I loved it, so I wanted everyone else to hear it as well. I think it will be inspirational to start posting stories about how a couple meets, first date stories, etc., so we can get a feel of the story in their photos.
So, here is Michael and Peggy’s (short) story and a few from the session……
“Michael and I met in high school and dated a little then and some after graduation. I joined the air force may of 2002 and we went our separate ways. He kept busy working as a concrete finisher for his dads company. We kept in contact here and there for the next few years but figured each other had moved on. I was living in New York working on my college degree when we started talking again only more frequently this time. The only thing that kept me in New York was finishing my degree. I moved back to Nebraska as soon as I could…literally…I hit the road the day after graduation. Nothing has kept us apart since. After only a few months, I moved in with him and then a year and half later he proposed! He surprised me with a gorgeous ring December 23rd at our favorite restaurant after driving around looking at Christmas lights. I’ve always wanted an October wedding and the timing was perfect!”
